My Story

Welcome to Holistic Soul Torbay, I'm so glad you're here!

I’m Karen, a qualified hypnotherapist and Reiki/Master Teacher with a passion for helping people achieve deep healing and clarity.

My journey began in 2011 with training in a range of holistic therapies, but my work has evolved to focus on what I’ve found to be most transformative—Hypnotherapy, Past Life Regression, and Reiki.

Through this work, I support clients in going beyond surface-level symptoms to access the root cause of emotional, physical, and behavioural patterns. Past Life Regression can offer powerful insights, helping you understand your life, relationships, and challenges from a deeper perspective—often leading to profound healing and lasting change.

They say Reiki finds you when you need it most, and it certainly did for me. In 2017 my 18-month-old granddaughter had been diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor just a few months before my first Reiki training class and was given only a 2% chance of survival. I spent every weekend in Bristol Children's Hospital giving my granddaughter Reiki; the difference it made to her was incredible. Nine years on, she is in mainstream school and living her life to the full.

More recently I have been updating my hypnotherapy training, specialising in Past Life Regression and Quantum Healing Hypnosis Techique (QHHT) developed by past life regression pioneer Dolores Cannon. Some of my Reiki clients had been looking for some deeper work and Past Life Regression Therapy brought them profound healing, getting to the root cause of their health issues and also helping them understand their current relationships and patterns.
